Performance Appraisal System for Academic & Administrative Excellence
The institution has a comprehensive performance appraisal system for efficient administration in academics and student services. The system ensures transparency, professional accountability, and continuous career growth for both teaching and non-teaching personnel.
The Head of the Institution prepares PCR (Personal Character Roll) of its entire non-teaching staff. It is a performance-based report where superior performance signifies commendable remarks. These remarks play an important role in the service regularization and departmental promotion of the staff.
Similarly, there is an established Self-Appraisal System for all teaching faculty members. It enhances the morale of both teaching and non-teaching staff to work with greater efficiency, dedication, and pedagogical excellence, as their recorded performance is directly counted towards promotions under the Career Advancement Scheme (CAS).
Mandatory Annual Submission Requirement
Teachers are required to submit their comprehensive annual appraisal report forwarded by the respective Head of the Department (HOD) along with their formal application for promotion. Without the verified self-appraisal report, promotion applications are not entertained. In this manner, internal assessment across all institutional stakeholders remains highly robust in terms of frequency, parameters, and academic rigor.
Teaching Faculty (PBAS / CAS)

- Curricular design, examinations & mentoring initiatives.
- Annual evaluation verified by IQAC & HOD.
Non-Teaching Staff (PCR)
- Punctuality, biometric attendance & office discipline.
- Speed and accuracy in file disposal & student record keeping.
- Interpersonal coordination with colleagues and students.
- Maintenance of lab equipment, library books & infrastructure.
- Confidential character roll recorded annually by Principal.
