It gives me immense pride and joy to welcome you to Bihar National College (B. N. College), Patna — a premier constituent institution of Patna University established in 1889 by the visionary nationalist brothers Babu Bisheswar Singh and Babu Shaligram Singh of Kulharia Raj.

For over 135 years, this glorious college on the banks of the sacred Ganges has shaped generations of constitutional leaders, scholars, scientists, civil servants, and literary giants. Our college has been the nurturing ground for luminaries like Dr. Moinul Haque, Sri Lalu Prasad Yadav, Late Sri Sushil Kumar Modi, Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, Justice Mihir Kumar Jha, and Padma awardees who have rendered distinguished service to our state and motherland.
