The NSS unit of B.N. College, Patna, organized a street play titled “Tambaku Ki Aakhri Kash” (The Last Puff of Tobacco) under the guidance of Programme Officers Dr. Amrita Jaiswal (Unit-I) and Dr. Sulekha Kumari (Unit-II). The play aimed to spread awareness among students and the public about the harmful effects of tobacco. Through an impactful performance, NSS volunteers highlighted how tobacco not only damages health but also affects families, finances, and society at large. The act drew attention to serious diseases such as cancer, tuberculosis, and heart ailments. The programme concluded with a collective pledge to “Quit Tobacco, Embrace Life” and work towards a Tobacco-Free India. The NSS unit expressed gratitude to all participants, teachers, and volunteers for making the event meaningful and successful.
