Bihar National College, Patna University, Patna, organized an Inter-University Start-up Programme on “Sustainable Technological Transformation” on 12 December 2025 at the College Seminar Hall. The programme was jointly organized by the Departments of BBA, BCA, and Biotechnology with the objective of fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development among undergraduate students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing various universities, who showcased their innovative start-up ideas through PowerPoint presentations, live demonstrations, and poster presentations. The programme focused on diverse themes, including sustainable development, rural e-commerce, agro-based and pharmaceutical products, artificial intelligence-driven digital transformation, and small-scale business innovations. The presentations reflected the participants' creativity, entrepreneurial vision, and problem-solving abilities while addressing contemporary socio-economic and environmental challenges.
The programme was graced by eminent academicians and distinguished guests, including Prof. Namrita Singh, Acting Vice-Chancellor, Patna University, and Prof. (Dr.) Rash Bihari Prasad Singh, Former Vice-Chancellor, Patna University, DR.Anil Kumar ,DSW, Patna University, whose insightful addresses inspired students to pursue innovation, research, and entrepreneurship as catalysts for sustainable development. The programme was conducted under the patronage of Dr. Raj Kishore Prasad, Principal, Bihar National College, and convened by Dr. Dolly Bharti, Head, Department of Economics and Coordinator, Department of BBA. Faculty members from various departments actively contributed to the successful organization of the event.
