Patna University Teachers and Employees Unite Against Proposed Changes to the Patna University Act, 1976; Mass Casual Leave

The peaceful movement to safeguard the historic identity and autonomy of Patna University gathered further momentum on Friday, as the ongoing agitation against the proposed amendments to the Patna University Act, 1976 entered its fourth consecutive day.Demonstrating unprecedented unity, the Patna University Teachers' Association, University Non-Teaching Employees' Association, College Non-Teaching Employees' Association, and the Students' Association jointly organized a Human Chain at the Patna College Campus. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from teachers, employees, students, research scholars, and supporters.
